DELTIIMO & MARLEY BLANDFORD "ON MY OWN AGAIN" REVIEW - PARTY ANTHEM!

DELTIIMO & MARLEY BLANDFORD

“On My Own Again”

Single review by Mike O’Cull, independent music journalist. www.mikeocull.com

“On My Own Again” is an amazing, dancefloor-packing bit of sonic experience brought into existence by some of the UK’s most gifted modern musicians. Deltiimo is one of the hottest pop production duos now working and is comprised of veteran British songwriter, lyricist, and producer Gary Louca and international songwriter and producer Bradon Grobler. Marley Blandford is a singer/songwriter from Portsmouth who effortlessly blends soul, pop, and folk sounds into melodic brilliance. Put the three artists together and what do you get? An absolute wildfire.

All three involved contributed to “On My Own Again” being born into the world, although it began life as a Grobler original. It has a smoky atmosphere, swirling synthesizers, and Blandford’s deeply emotional vocals laid over a beat that’s genetically engineered to start parties. The track is a huge step forward into the party anthem scene for Blandford but, judging by this first performance, he should do well there. Deltiimo turns in another luminescent, multicolored production that will please the clubs and that melds seamlessly with Blandford’s soulfulness. The song is available two ways: a tight radio cut and an extended club mix. Excellent work all around. Find it today.
